FY 2022 Optimizing Virtual Care (HRSA-22-097)
- Important date (s): July 16, 2021
- Funding Link — This funding opportunity will provide a one-time award to 25 Health Centers on a competitive basis. The award aims to help these health centers develop and implement strategies that optimize virtual care and clinical quality. The hope is that these strategies can be scaled across the entire Health Center program.

- Important date (s): May 31, 2021
- Funding Link — The American Rescue Plan Act provides one-time funding (H8F) for a 2-year period of performance to support health centers funded under the Health Center Program to prevent, mitigate, and respond to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and to enhance health care services and infrastructure.

- Important date (s): Round 2 application window is April 29, 2021 – May 6, 2021
- This program fully funds the purchasing of telecommunications services, information services and devices needed to provide connected care services during the PHE. The $200 million in immediate funding will help providers stay connected to their patients across distances in a critical time.

- Important date (s): Application due June 4, 2021
- This program aims to overcome the adverse effects of remoteness and low population density in rural communities, by furnishing them with tools to increase connectivity. Funds can be used for a variety of purchases, such as acquirement of broadband facilities, telehealth equipment, data equipment, and computer hardware, software and network components.

- The National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) and Centene Corporation have provided funding to Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) with the goal of increasing sustainability of telehealth solutions for FQHCs just starting programs or looking to build upon them.

The Connected Care Pilot Program
- Important date(s): Three year period for selected pilot projects
- The $100 million project from the Universal Service Fund (USF) will support the expansion of telehealth access, specifically to low-income Americans and veteran patients by helping cover health care provider costs. Funds will be provided and tracked over a 3 year period.
Certintell can empower FQHCs to combat COVID-19 with sustainable telehealth solutions.
FY 2021 Supplemental Funding for Hypertension (NHCI-HC)
- Important date(s): For 2021, HRSA anticipates semi-annual progress reports
- Funding will be awarded to health centers receiving Health Center Program operation grant (H80) and will have to meet specified hypertension criteria. Funding is intended to expand access to hypertension diagnosis and control through RPM support and must be used for in-scope services.
Certintell can help health centers meet and oftentimes exceed specified hypertension criteria in order to receive the funding.
FY 2019 Integrated Behavioral Health Services (IBHS)
- Important date(s): February 15, 2021
- Award recipients must (1) add at least 0.5 SUD and/or mental health service personnel full-time equivalent (contracted and/or direct hire) by April 30, 2020 to support expanded services; and (2) increase new and/or existing patients receiving SUD and/or mental health services, as reported in the 2020 Uniform Data System (UDS) report.
Certintell can meet IBHS requirements for Workforce Expansion, Clinical Workflow and Practice Transformation, Health Information Technology, and Other Telehealth Applications.
